ALL ABOUT INLINE SKATING
Ice skating is a sport in which people slide over a smooth ice surface on steel-bladed skates. This activity can be carried out for various reasons, including recreation, sport, exercise and travel.
There are two types of skating sports - figure skating and short-track speed skating.
Figure skating requires performers to complete exhilarating and sometimes extreme physical challenges on ice, was inspired by both ballet and waltz.
On the other hand, short-track speed skating involves the athlete facing off against an opponent. The goal isn't to complete the track in the shortest period of time, but in fact, it is to defeat the rival pair or team.
Skating works nearly every muscle group in the body!
It is great for cardiovascular health – it gets blood pumping and the heart rate up.
